As part of our foundation, we organised a special project dedicated to the Polish community in the region. The event was designed not only to preserve tradition but above all to bring together locals who seldom have the chance to spend time together.
During the event, participants rolled traditional Christmas pierogi—this joint activity became a gateway for conversations, sharing experiences and exploring regional variations of the dish. In breaks, we feasted together and sang carols, creating a warm, family-style atmosphere.
The results were impressive: in total we rolled 1,500 pierogi, which were later delivered to ten Polish families in need. For many members of our community, this wasn’t just a culinary venture but an opportunity to reconnect with roots and build human connections. The event was so well-attended that we are already planning further editions to continue creating together and integrating our local community.
